But was it around in 1965 or even later 1964? AND.were they actually still producing them in 1969 and later? I found one mention on this site of a 140B or 145B with a 1969 stamp inside it.Spinet organ It's in excellent condition. The B series was certainly around by June 1966. I am not convinced that these teacher/student models exist without a "B" on the plate, and nobody has every mentioned an "A" version of these. I'd say the biggest mysteries right now are in precisely dating the 140B/145B/720B series.ĪND the issue of the early music lab models: 146/147 (no B) and 726/727 (no B). (let me know)Īs before, additions are MUCH appreciated. I hope this is OK with the mentioned parties. ![]() I've thanked this site in general and some other sites that I used for some info. I've been starting to keep track of serial numbers I see, both on ebay and when I repair Wurlies. They are not "earliest" and "latest" but merely the earliest and latest numbers I happen to know right now. ![]() One thing I added, on the far right, was two columns including serial numbers. It now has so many columns that some are not immediately visible, and require scrolling to the right. The number "214" is scribbled on a plate inside it. I think? I just saw a 210 for sale on ebay which is claimed to be from 1975. But it is likely to be later than the original 214, which is a 200 series. It seem to be a revamped 203, probably using the later 200A amp. The 210 barely shows up in the literature at all. I am under the impression that, either way, the 205VA is from after 1971, meaning after the 207, and has the "5" to keep it in line with the 215VA, which is the 214 similarly set up for the V-500. I'm not sure which Key Visualizer came first, the 208 or the V-500, but probably the former. However: The 205V (or 205VA) was a version of the 207 set up for the "Key Visualizer" V-500. I think this is a tendency, but I do think there are other exceptions.Įxamples: The 140 followed the 700. ![]()
